How Much Do Custom Inflatables Cost?

What actually moves the price, why quotes vary so much between suppliers, and how to think about cost per impression.

We publish prices, which is unusual in this industry

Most custom inflatable suppliers quote only on request. Every product on this site shows its price and available sizes, so you can budget without starting a sales conversation — and put a firm number into a purchase order or grant application immediately.

What follows explains what those prices reflect.

Size is the dominant factor

Cost scales with surface area, not height, so a display twice as tall uses roughly four times the material. That is why the jump from 9 ft to 16 ft is larger than people expect.

It is also why oversizing is expensive in more ways than one: a larger unit costs more up front, needs more ballast, takes longer to set up and is harder to store. Buy the size your viewing distance actually requires.

Complexity, material and lighting

A sphere or arch is made from relatively few panels. A detailed character with limbs, facial features and fine printing needs many more panels, more pattern work and more sewing time — that labour is a real part of the cost.

Material choice moves price somewhat, and internal LED or RGB lighting adds cost. For evening use lighting is usually worth it, since an unlit display effectively stops working after dark.

Shipping and lead time

Standard shipping is included in the price shown on every product page, so the figure you see is what you pay. Expedited production with air freight is an optional upcharge shown before checkout, and it scales with the size and weight of the item.

If your date allows standard production, choosing it is the single easiest way to reduce total cost.

Think in cost per impression

An inflatable is a capital purchase rather than a per-event rental. The same unit works across grand openings, seasonal promotions, trade shows and sponsorships for several years, so cost per impression falls with every deployment.

That comparison — one purchase against repeated rental or reprinted banners — is usually what justifies the spend internally.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum order?

No. You can order a single unit. Tiered pricing is available from 5 units for agencies, resellers and multi-site organizations.

Why is a taller inflatable so much more expensive?

Cost tracks surface area rather than height, so doubling the height roughly quadruples the material. Larger units also need heavier blowers and more ballast.

Is shipping included?

Standard shipping is included in the listed price. Expedited production with air freight is an optional extra, shown at checkout before you pay.

Do you charge design fees?

No. The digital design proof is free, and you approve it before anything goes into production.
